In a world where confidence and safety go hand in hand, the Women’s BJJ Self-Defense Course offers more than just martial arts training—it’s a transformative journey in body awareness, strength, and self-trust.
This woman-led, trauma-informed program is designed specifically for women and girls aged 13+. No experience or athletic background is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn. Each session builds practical skills in a safe, inclusive space where every participant has full control over their comfort and participation.
Using a Constraints-Led Approach (CLA), the course replaces rigid, choreographed techniques with realistic, scenario-based learning. Participants explore movement, decision-making, and problem-solving in real-world contexts, helping them develop adaptable, instinctive responses under pressure.
Across four focused sessions, you’ll gain:
Foundational standing and ground defence skills
Real life skills for escaping holds and maintaining control
De-escalation and awareness strategies
A deeper sense of confidence and community
Every class combines empowerment through movement with peer support and reflection. You’ll leave not only with practical self-defense skills, but also with a renewed connection to your body and your personal agency.
Graduates receive a written summary of all concepts covered and an invitation to continue training through our BJJ Beginners Program (with a discounted rate).
We also offer women-only classes and 1:1 private sessions for continued growth.
Step onto the mats and discover your strength in a supportive, woman-centered environment.
